Twilight

Simply the worst. Ever. Nothing any of you can say will sway me from this conclusion.

The one star is for the Cullens' house. I would LOVE to live in that house. (The one star is also there cause I can't give this movie zero stars apparently).

I'm going to watch Linklater's Before Sunrise to wash this from my brain.

  2. AHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Okay. I just gave the movie a five star rating. rofl
But that's because I enjoyed watching it so much. Laughing at all the lousy parts, snickering at all the mush and most of all... snorting at all the gushings from the other viewers. It took all my self control not to start shooting popcorn at people. That plus I didn't wanna waste my popcorn. My gang had a spunky time shredding the movie to bits and pieces and we can't wait to watch the movie again at Aya's place and shred it some more.

But seriously... I'd give it 2 stars. One for Alice being so pretty. And two... umm... umm... because I'm nice. And make it three stars coz I don't wanna be buried under all the hate mails from fans. lolz

And FYI... The Cullens house is supposed to be a white mansion. I think...

  3. What is a white mansion? If I have to read the book, nevermind. :)

  4. I had no preconceptions (having no background info on Twilight phenomenon) so... other than the fact that it dragged. I... thought it was okay.
    (please don't stone me)

  5. its the best worst movie of the year! I'd rather watch dracula's old school version rather than see a vampire "glitter" (in such a girly way) in broad daylight! Whatta-lame depiction of how a dose of sunshine affects vampires with blonde highlights, over-powdered face, and a dash of lipgloss.

sigh, it would be great though if the main chic in the movie wudve at least gone topless in one scene. two-stars for that if that happened. Wahahaha! just kiddin.

you're right, its porno for pre-teen girls. Epitome of the love story-- PROM NIGHT! Like wtf is up with that?! and the only twist in the movie is the cullen's lame excuse for playing baseball.. a mondo-gay-thunderstorm.. sigh.

  8. I don't think Tarits would like it. The writing is too romance novel.

  11. girls like it the way they like all romantic things. so for those girls who aren't into the lovey dovey mush, they'll hate it the way guys did.

i can answer ur question tarits... the movie is just as bad as HP movies compared to the books. You'll be dissapointed. And since the twillight series isn't really as good as HP, it's twice as bad. No major dramatic scenes and impressive cinematography. But if ur in it for the kilig factor and all the mush, by all means, go and watch. Despite mediocre acting, Edward is still hot, Alice is really cute, and Jasper's face is funny. Those are pretty much the highpoints of the movie. And the worst downside, Edward did not go topless. They could probably have doubled the girl's gush factor if they included that part. lolz

  15. denner i watched. pls don't disown me...
it was ok, since my expectations were basement level... the bella actress was prettier on film than the posters, the girl vampires were good-lookng while the male ones looked like "nasubsob sila sa espasol"
