WAHWHOOOO!

"We've known for a while that Christian Bale is playing John Connor in McG's now-in-production TERMINATOR film. Early indications suggested Bale would appear throughout a proposed trilogy of films...although nothing seemed set in stone.

"Now comes confirmation that Bale has formally signed on to play Connor in three TERMINATOR movies."

YIPPPEEEEE!

"Pre-production is about to get under way on the two-part "Hobbit." Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens are expected to pen the scripts under the direction of Peter Jackson and del Toro. Preliminary contact has already been made with at least three actors whose "Lord of the Rings" characters also appear in the "Hobbit" storyline: Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), Ian McKellen (Gandalf) and Andy Serkis (Gollum)."

SWEEEEET!

"'Iron Man' screenwriters Art Marcum and Matt Holloway have been hired by Summit Entertainment to pen a “Highlander” remake, according to the Hollywood Reporter"

  1. i've known about the new terminator movie in the works for a while now, and really excited 'cause i've been waiting for one focusing on the future war... however i didn't know until now that it's by mcg, now i'm even more excited! big fan of his work, ever since his music video days.

  2. I knew it was in the works and that McG was doing it. I just didn't know it was gonna be Batman vs. Terminator. This is even better than Batman vs. Wolverine (aka: the Prestige)

Not a big fan of McG. He's a good commercial/video director, but like Michael Bay, he doesn't really impress when it comes to storytelling with film. He does things that look good because they look good, not because they make sense.
