I found the first...I'm still on the fence here. I found the first third brilliant and thought there were too many blatant ties to Alien to keep the novel idea of tracking down ancestors we may not want to know on track. Visually stunning and I agree re: Rapace. Not sure I've seen her elsewhere but here she channeled pure Mia Farrow and came across as shrill, panicked and anything but self-assured. A movie I did not love but that still has me thinking about it a few days after. These types of slow burns generally signal a success in the long term.
